Case study ·
CampusWell
CampusWell came to bobos.ai as a student health and well-being media platform serving colleges and universities — a business with two audiences to win at once: the campus administrators who license the platform, and the students who actually have to engage with it.
The challenge
Reaching higher-ed buyers takes a long, trust-heavy funnel, and CampusWell needed the whole thing running at once: always-on awareness campaigns, credible proof for administrators evaluating the platform, and conversion assets that turned interest into conversations — all without a big in-house marketing team.
What we did
Working directly with Tom Piovoso, bobos.ai ran CampusWell's marketing motion end to end:
- Always-on paid media — monthly geofenced mobile campaigns (GroundTruth), recurring YouTube ad flights, and campus-media placements (Flytedesk), refreshed and re-targeted month over month.
- Proof and conversion assets — a dedicated testimonial page (designed, built, and proofed), a customer case-study video taken from storyboard through publication on the website, pricing-page updates, and a video-player CRM capture form to turn viewers into leads.
- Launch support — email and landing-page copy for beta-tester recruitment, and a full push for CampusWell's 2022 national conference: campaign emails, video scripts, a sizzle reel, and updated line cards.
- Product-side help beyond marketing — a client-portal wireframe, a research short-report for the sales team, and automated vendor-payout operations for CampusWell's vendor marketplace, run on bobos' own platform.
How it ran
This wasn't a one-quarter project. The engagement ran as a continuous, task-level partnership — dozens of deliverables across 2021–2022, with work continuing on a subscription basis into 2025. Each month's ads, pages, and assets built on what the previous month learned.
The takeaway
A two-sided audience, a long B2B funnel, and a lean team — CampusWell is what bobos.ai is built for: one partner running strategy, creative, media, and even operational tooling, so the founder can stay on the product and the customers.
